ABOUT

Willoughby Brow is a theatre designer and fine artist based in South West London. Trained at Wimbledon College of Art (University of the Arts London), he weaves a broad gamut of influences within his practice. His work references science, European literature, the history of art, film and animation, as well as advertising, propaganda and popular culture. His work explores themes of emotional vulnerability, political satire, absurdism and existentialism through visual storytelling. He is a versatile creator who combines both analogue and digital techniques to communicate his ideas with precision. Willoughby is interested in working within theatre, film and television. His practical theatrical experience includes set-building, costume making, model-making, prop-building, and puppet-making. This skill set allows Willoughby to offer a diverse, adaptable and rich design approach to an extensive variety of projects.
